I recently got a call from a woman who has been having persistent, unfounded fears of falling down the basement stairs.

She’s not unsteady on her feet. The stairs aren’t slippery.

So what was going on?

She wasn’t imagining things or being irrational. She was sensing an event from the past.

I sat with the energy of her home and immediately saw a woman fall down the stairs.

This happened years ago to a previous owner.

But the event was so traumatic that it left an energetic imprint in the home, like a movie on repeat.

My client was sensing this every time she went to the basement.

It’s been more than four years since my divorce.

So much of my content is about FengShui, decluttering, having furniture and decor that supports you physically, energetically and emotionally.

Those things are important.

But what’s more important is who you come home to.

Do you look forward to coming home to your partner or do you dread it?

Are you walking on eggshells around them?

Does your home feel better when you’re alone?

Lately I’ve found myself thinking back to my marriage where I experienced all of those things.

I did so much work on myself and my home to try to manifest a better outcome.

Finally I realized that the thing I really needed to let go was my relationship.

Things haven’t always been easy.

Some months I wondered how I was going to pay my rent.

But I’ll never take the life I’ve created for granted.

My home is my sanctuary. A place to dream and launch new projects, write books, create art.

You deserve a home like that, too.

Yesterday at our Grand Opening I gave several mini sessions.

Some of the things we worked on were:

- releasing stress and anxiety
- frozen shoulder
- chronic neck and shoulder pain
- tension headaches
- lower back pain and muscle tension

Working with specific acupressure points with hands or weighted forks releases muscle tension, stiffness, stress and blocked energy.

I loved seeing each person relax and move more easily after a session!

In May 2019, I left my career in higher education to be an energy healer

The roots of this major life change reach back into my childhood. I was highly intuitive, sensitive to energy and could sense the presence of spirits. I loved animals and nature and spent a lot of time caring for sick animals on our farm.

Those kinds of things weren’t really acceptable in mainstream society. So, for many years I set my intuitive and healing abilities to the side. I eventually ended up in a university working in international education because I could advocate for the students and make a difference in their lives.

In 2012, a close friend introduced me to energy healing and I decided to take a certification program in Eden Energy Medicine. As soon as I took the first class, I fell in love with energy work. I could use my intuition and ability to sense energy. I could change people’s lives in ways I didn’t think were possible. Improve health. Reduce pain. Shift mental and emotional blocks. A couple of years later, I started working with Biofield Tuning, and energy clearing of homes and businesses and expanded my ability to transform people’s lives in even more ways.

But I still had a lot of my own mental and emotional blocks to clear. I believed that I had to work a 9-5 job to make a living. I stayed in my job for 22 years and kept my energy work as a small side business. I was worried that people might find energy work strange, and kept myself small, not fully stepping into all my potential abilities.
