🐉✨ Happy Lunar New Year! ✨🐉
Today we rang in the Year of the Fire Horse with a celebration full of color, culture, and joy! 🧧🌸 We stuffed lucky red envelopes to share with our staff and visitors, painted beautiful cherry blossom trees, and learned all about our Chinese zodiac signs.
We were also treated to an amazing calligraphy demonstration ✍️ and live music 🎶 from the Chinese Association of Iowa 愛荷華州華人協會—such a special experience!
Wishing everyone a year filled with good fortune, happiness, and new beginnings! 🐎🔥🧧

We’re out in the community! 💙
Our Life Enrichment Director, Karin, had the opportunity to present at a local middle school for Career Day! Karin spoke with 6th graders about the importance of Life Enrichment for our seniors and the value of bringing dementia awareness to our community—starting with our youth. 🧠💜
It’s never too early to learn about compassion, connection, and making a difference. We love sharing our passion beyond our walls!

🐿️✨Punxsutawney Phil may have seen his shadow, but that didn’t stop our fun!
We had a whackin’ good time playing Whack-A-Mole 🛠️ and whipping up delicious Groundhog Parfaits this morning 🍨🐾.
We wrapped up the day with a lively game of Spring or Snow? 🌷❄️ and some fun Groundhog Day trivia 🧠🎉.
No matter the forecast, it was a great day full of smiles and laughter! 💛

Inspire Your Heart with Art Day paired perfectly with candy tasking and a sweet dive into the history of candy—what a great weekend! 🎨❤️🍬
So many memories were sparked as they reminisced about Hot Tamales, candy buttons, Boston Baked Beans, candy necklaces, Bit-O-Honey, Tootsie Rolls, butterscotch discs, root beer barrels, mint discs, Pixy Stix, and strawberry bon bons.
And the fan favorite? Hershey’s with peanuts—a true classic! 🍫🥜
