Meet Our Newest Massage Therapist

Jean is a dedicated massage therapist with over two decades of experience supporting clients through healing, comfort, and restorative care. A native of the Des Moines area, she graduated in 2004 from the College of Massage and the Healing Arts and began her career serving hospice patients, where she contracted for 18 years. Her work in this setting strengthened her compassion-focused approach and deepened her commitment to helping individuals manage pain, reduce stress, and improve quality of life.

In addition to traditional massage therapy, Jean has pursued advanced training to better serve clients with specialized needs. She completed Klose Manual Lymph Drainage training in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2021, a therapy that reduces inflammation and swelling and is beneficial for clients experiencing autoimmune conditions, Lyme disease, or chronic fluid retention.

Recognizing the growing need for post-surgical recovery support, Jean also works with clients following medical and cosmetic procedures to help decrease swelling, encourage proper healing, and accelerate recovery. In 2023, she further expanded her expertise by attending Cosmetic Surgery Therapy training in Las Vegas, Nevada, focusing on lymphatic drainage and care for plastic and reconstructive surgery patients.

For Jean, massage is more than a profession — it is her passion. She finds great fulfillment in helping clients feel better, regain comfort, and restore balance in their bodies through skilled and compassionate care.
