There are so many people who make the Orange Gala possible, and tonight I need to shine a light on someone incredibly special: Katelyn Kennebeck.

Katelyn managed our entire front of house on Saturday night — every detail, every transition, every moving piece that helped the evening run smoothly for our guests. Her leadership, calm presence, and absolute excellence were felt in every corner of that room.

And I need to say something from the heart…I meant to include her in our program, and I didn’t. It was brought to my attention afterward, and it has weighed on me because she deserved to be recognized front and center for everything she poured into this night. Katelyn, I am so sorry for that oversight. You were essential to the magic of the gala.

Beyond her work at the event, Katelyn is also a cherished service provider for our MS Moments grant recipients through her clinic, Soothe To Strengthen, offering massage therapy that supports wellness, relief, and healing. She cares about this community deeply, and it shows.

Katelyn — thank you for giving your time, your heart, your talent, and your belief in our mission. Thank you for being someone I can count on. MS Moments is stronger because of you, and I am endlessly grateful.

Some moments are too big for words… but this one deserves every single one.

At the Orange Gala on Saturday night, I had the privilege of standing beside someone who has been part of MS Moments since the very beginning — my friend, my constant, and one of the strongest forces behind our mission: Chris Klocke.

For 11 years, Chris has shown up with love, loyalty, grit, and a heart that never stops giving. Together, we built MS Moments from an idea into a community… into a family. When I think about why MS Moments still stands, why it continues to grow, and why we’ve been able to make life a little lighter for so many Iowa families living with MS, Chris is one of the biggest reasons.

So it was one of the greatest honors of my life to officially recognize her with a title that reflects everything she has poured into this organization:

— forever keeping her legacy as the ultimate MS Moments founder, advocate, and partner in this mission.

But even more than that… she is my best friend. My steady place. My person who has walked beside me through the highs, the heartbreaks, the rebuilds, and the victories — always with grace and love.

These incredible humans have poured their time, energy, and hearts into serving on the MS Moments Board over the years. Some were able to join us in this moment, others could not, but every single one has helped shape who we are and what we stand for.

We are just days away from the Orange Gala, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you! Below is your complete guide to make Saturday smooth, fun, and unforgettable.

🚪 Doors Open: 5:00 PM
🎤 Program Begins: 6:00 PM
đź‘ź Dress Code: Cocktail attire + sneakers (orange encouraged!)

🎟️ No Tickets Needed
Just walk up to the VIP or General Admission entrance and check in by name.
That’s it — no printed or digital tickets required.

🅿️ Parking & Accessibility
Parking is available on the southwest side of the building.
MS Moments families will have designated parking and handicapped-accessible parking on the SW side closest to the venue.

We will also have a golf cart shuttle running continuously to assist anyone who needs extra help getting to the entrance.
Just pull in, park, and we’ll take care of the rest.
