Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Their selflessness has secured the freedoms we cherish, and their legacy continues to inspire us every day.

At McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors we are deeply grateful for the veterans in our community, those who served, those who continue to serve, and those who have gone before us. It is our privilege to support their families and to ensure that every veteran is remembered with the dignity and respect they deserve.

To all veterans: thank you for your service, your strength, and your sacrifice. We honor you today and always.

Our history

We are a combination of several funeral service families brought together to serve the area.

From the beginning of Quinn Funeral Home in 1901, to the gathering of Ortner Funeral Home, Doyle Funeral Home and the formation of Nunn & McGrath Funeral Directors, we have been a part of Utica and the surrounding communities for over 100 years. The addition of Myslinski Funeral Home, founded in 1963, and Surridge & Roberts Funeral Home, founded in 1927, added further expertise and experience to our diverse group of people dedicated to serving our families.

With our many years of experience we have come to care for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because of our compassion, dedication and professionalism in serving our families. We are proud of our long line of funeral service families. We believe with the culmination of experience, knowledge and compassion that our history affords us, that we can better attend to the bereaved. Each funeral service family that has contributed to our story have given the best of their ideologies to the future of our businesses going forward. These organizations have been the premier funeral service firms in our area over the years.

McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors and Surridge & Roberts Funeral Home are thankful to all the wonderful people who served our community before us. Those that we did not know along with those that we had the pleasure of befriending are the backbone of our service establishment today.
