Fine Arc at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis artist Chris Duck did an outstanding job representing the program at Utica City School District Community Reader Day at General Herkimer Elementary. Also, shoutout to the third grade students for their musical performance.

📙 What a wonderful day for Chris Duck! One of the talented artists in our Fine Arc at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis program, Chris was invited to participate in Community Reader Day at General Herkimer Elementary School in the Utica City School District.

He visited Mrs. Scaccia’s kindergarten class, where he read two books to the children, one of which featured Chris and some of his fellow artists from Fine Arc. The children were outstanding and so welcoming. Fantastic job, Chris!

On , we honor and thank all who have served our nation with courage and dedication.

This year, we’re proud to feature “Red, White and Blue,” a painting by Kayla Smith, an artist supported by The Arc, Oneida-Lewis. Her artwork was showcased in The Arc New York’s 2025 Art Competition and serves as a beautiful tribute to the spirit of the day. ❤️🤍💙
