📣 We are now accepting applications for our postgraduate Nurse Practitioner Residency Program!

This program provides new graduate advanced practice providers with a supportive entry into practice. Participants in the residency program are paired up with preceptors to allow for collaboration and hands-on education. Structured online and in-classroom continuing education modules help guide clinical decision making, improve documentation and expand skill set. The resident completes hands-on training in the outpatient and inpatient clinics, with various specialists, primary care providers and hospitalists.

“Match Day” is an annual event held on the third Friday in March, when graduating medical students across the U.S. learn where they will complete their residency training.

On Friday, March 20, MVHS celebrated alongside fourth-year medical students, as well as Transitional Year and surgical preliminary residents, as they learned where they matched. Residency program leaders also revealed their match lists of new physicians who will join the MVHS team this June. In addition, MVHS welcomed its first Diabetes Fellowship class, set to begin in July.

The event was hosted by Chief Academic Officer Maxime Berube, MD. Medical student matches were announced by Dean of Students Leo Sullivan, MD, followed by match list presentations from:
