My initial training in Asian Medicine was about 23 years ago at the Acupressure Therapy Institute. It was an experience that lit me up and I knew this was my passion. I attended school with Joe Lucier, and he also was training in Tong Ren. I knew about it and have heard so many stories about miraculous healings with this system. I have thought about diving into it, and I am so thrilled that I started that today!!! I just completed a 5 hour training and can now practice with clients and on myself. I am so grateful to say that the April retreat is sold out. Thank you to all of the beautiful souls who have chosen to carve out time for themselves and to gather in community. I get this question a lot. Most people understand the big T traumas- child abuse and neglect, loss of a loved one, an accident etc. Chronic trauma can be worse than a big T. Feeling ignored or neglected as a child, bullying, dysfunctional family life, exposure to addiction of family members, feeling unsafe and walking on eggshells, Chronic stress, and more. Everyone has a unique response to trauma. Treatment must be individualized. DM me for more information on my Compassionate Empowerment Programs.
