Our Thursdays are always a treat, but today was extra sweet! Our Executive Chef, John, put on an incredible live cooking performance for our residents, families, and staff. John showed us the art of making the perfect golden caramel sauce right here in Pappa’s House.

The aroma was amazing, and the demonstration was as entertaining as it was delicious! We love these weekly moments where our community comes together to learn, laugh, and, taste something world-class.

Today Chef was all about baking the perfect cupcakes and turning them into little works of art. We started by mixing up a soft, fluffy batter, filling the liners, and letting the sweet smell of fresh cupcakes fill the room while they baked.

Once they cooled, the real fun began with decorating! Simple, sweet, and so much fun. Baking together always brings smiles (and a few extra sprinkles). Another wonderful Flavor Time from Chef John!

But there’s more to Chef John than what’s sizzling on the stove! When he’s not crafting delicious meals, he is a proud family man with two kids who keep him just as busy as the dinner rush. He also loves to travel and experience new cultures through their food. He’s always gathering inspiration from around the globe, and you never know when those international flavors might make a surprise appearance in his next comfort food creation! ✈️

Wake up Vacaville! This was such a great event with thanks to the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce for letting us host this mornings networking event in our beautiful Clark House! We love getting to know our community partners and friends better! ✨
