This month, we’re proud to recognize our PAL Kid, Luna Moya, and our PAL Teen, Jorge Jimenez! 🎉🎊

Luna has shown a strong commitment to participating and engaging in activities. Her willingness to ask questions and talk to others is something truly inspiring. 💪

Jorge always brings his best effort to whatever meeting or event he attends. He has a hardworking personality and he doesn’t fail to offer a lending hand. His commitment to PAL and our community is something very admirable. 🙌

We couldn’t be more grateful for the hard work and eagerness that Luna and Jorge bring to PAL! 🎊

On February 10, the Vacaville City Council honored two of our teens during Youth Recognition Month. They were presented with a Youth Proclamation in recognition of their achievements and growth in our program.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our former PAL Teen, Angelly Camarena, and our current PAL Teen, Kevin Chavez-Derreza.

Moments like these remind us what our program is all about. Investing in young people, believing their potential, and celebrating their hard earned success.

We are beyond proud of their dedication and commitment to improving themselves and their community!

Having a hard time parenting your teen?
Struggling with behavior, rules, or communication?

Join our Parent Project class for parents and caregivers of kids ages 12 and up. This class will help you learn new tools, set clear rules, and connect with other parents.

Hi PAL family! 💙
Please help us thank 4 Edges Construction Company for their incredible generosity in purchasing a wheelchair ramp for Ivan’s home (PAL Teen). Their old ramp wasn’t safe and became extremely slippery when it rained.
The purchase of this ramp now allows Ivan to get in and out of his home safely and with confidence. Knowing he can move safely has brought so much relief and peace of mind to his family. This thoughtful act is truly making a difference and helping create a safer, more accessible space for Ivan.
We would also like to give a big shoutout to our PAL Board members and amazing community members who came together to install the ramp. Your time, effort, and teamwork perfectly show what community support looks like.

This month, we’re proud to recognize our PAL Kid, David Morphis, and our PAL Teen, Brandy Perillo! 🎊🎉

David always manages to bring his best attitude to our PAL Kids meetings. His interaction and enthusiasm with the presentations, talking to his peers, and activities we do is truly admirable, as he brightens up the mood. We admire his bright personality! 🙌

Brandy brings a hardworking attitude to any task she is faced with. Her role as Vice President in the PAL Teens council speaks to the level of commitment she dedicates to the program. We are proud to see her succeed in not only in PAl, but in her approach to anything life throws at her. 💪
