💙 We’re excited to announce our 2026 5K beneficiary! 💙

Barnes Drug Store is honored to share that Sandy's House has been selected as the 2026 recipient of funds raised through the 18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run & Splash Dash 🏃‍♀️💦

📍 200 South Patterson St., Valdosta, GA 31601

All proceeds and donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, and every dollar raised and matched will directly benefit Sandy’s House—a local organization making a powerful impact right here in Valdosta.

Sandy’s House is a 12-month residential, faith-based program for women ages 18 and older who are suffering from addiction. Since opening their doors on March 21, 2022, they have served women broken from alcohol and drug addiction by providing housing, education, and spiritual training, helping them rediscover who they are in Christ.

Since 2009, Barnes Drug Store has raised and donated over $1 MILLION back into our community through this annual 5K event. Thanks to our incredible community partners and supporters, we raised over $600,000 in 2025 for Evans Memorial Camp.

Today, we are proud to recognize and celebrate Loryn Brown, PharmD, our Pharmacist in Charge here at Barnes Drug Store. Loryn has been an invaluable part of our pharmacy family since October 2023, and we are so grateful for her leadership and heart for our patients.

Loryn goes above and beyond every single day to ensure patient safety, uphold best and safest pharmacy practices, and lead our team with integrity and care.
