Partnership Health Center

Partnership Health Center Partnership Health Center is a charitable clinic that provides primary and urgent care for uninsured Saturday and Sunday 1:00 - 5:00.

The Partnership for Health had its beginnings in October 1996 when a small group of local business and health care leaders met to discuss organizing a local partnership that would address the changing health care needs of Lowndes County. As a result, this group developed into a non-profit corporation originally named the Lowndes County Partnership for Health, which was changed to Partnership Healt

h Center in 2018 due to expanding nature of its program service area to surrounding counties. Since its inception the Partnership Health Center has sought to create community partnerships that address the health care needs of Lowndes County and the surrounding area. Its mission is to deliver medical and dental care to South Georgia's uninsured. The Partnership Health Center is open Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

A primary care clinic is the main place a person goes for their everyday health needs. Think of it as your “home base” for healthcare.

At a primary care clinic, you usually:
- Have a regular doctor or provider who knows you
- Go for check-ups and basic tests
- Get help managing chronic health problems (like asthma or diabetes)
- Talk about your overall health, including mental health

Your primary care provider helps you stay healthy over time and can send you to specialists if needed.
