A Work In Progress, LLC focus is on various types of counseling services involving children/ women/ men’s issues, relationships and parenting topics/issues. Parenting topics such as: single parent families; blended families and blended family issues; communication; problem-solving; and goal setting. Demetria also likes to host Vision Board Parties to help bring your goals and visions to fruition!!!! A Work In Progress, LLC also does Anger Management Classes (Individual & Groups) and Marriage Counseling (Pre-Marital Counseling & Marital Enrichment).

Thoughts for Tuesday: While decluttering I realized that while I have many skills and talents I do not have to use them all at the same time! Services I used to provide I will no longer provide but will focus on the ones that are most beneficial for the populations that I serve!! Throwing away the papers and binders doesn't reduce the knowledge, it just reduces the clutter!! Happy Tuesday 💕

Monday Motivation: 2025 has been a "different" type of year.... neither good or bad, just different. This has been a year of exposure and restoration. As well as shoves outside of the "comfort" zone. I have always been cool with being a background worker but some reason others challenge me to come to the forefront. God continues to work on me but one thing is for certain my character has and continues to remain the same across all settings... The whole month of December the word "character" has shown up and continues to show up. Saturday evening it continuously showed up which made me smile and chuckle a bit. I strive to always show up as authentic "me" because it is hard trying to remember which mask you wore for this person/that occasion. While I understand that my "character" tends to rub people the wrong way like sandpaper; support me through my dm and not out loud; try to assassinate relationships that I have with people; not support people "they" don't approve of.....etc.... I am reminded that God uses me differently than he does others. I support people until I don't and I will always show up as my authentic self!! If I can't help you, I won't hurt you but I also position myself away from you. The message is.... Be authentically you regardless of what others think or say you should be.
