Project 5:9 offers Virtual Peer Support Sessions completely online.

You can connect from your home, your patrol car after shift, or anywhere you have a phone or computer.

No travel.
No pressure.
Just first responders supporting first responders.

These online sessions provide a confidential space to talk with people who understand the job, the stress, and the things we carry.

You don’t have to show up ready to pour your heart out.
You don’t even have to talk much at all.

Sometimes just being present and listening matters.

And sometimes the story you share, something you think is small, something you think nobody needs to hear, may be the exact thing another first responder needed to hear to keep going one more day.

Your story could help someone realize they’re not alone and that realization can save a life.

Join us online. Connect. Support each other. Carry the weight together.

Not everyone has done CPR, or loaded a body bag, or lost a partner, or held someone while they took their last breath, or scrubbed their blood from their clothes in silence while your family sleeps.

Give yourself some GRACE.

Reach out if you are struggling. -PROJECT 5:9

🚨There are calls we never forget.

👀Scenes that stay with us long after the lights are off and the radio goes silent.

💥Faces.
💥Voices.
💥Moments we wish we could undo.

‼️Sometimes the weight of it sits heavy… the grief, the regret, the things we carry that nobody else understands.

In Lamentations, Jeremiah is literally mourning the destruction of everything he knew.
He says:

“I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss.”

🤔That line feels familiar to a lot of us in this profession.

But then he says something powerful:

“Yet I still dare to hope…”

🚫Not because life suddenly got easier.
🚫Not because the pain disappeared.

☀️But because God’s mercy resets every morning.

💥Every shift.
💥Every sunrise.
💥Every new day you wake up and put the uniform back on.

His mercy didn’t run out yesterday, and it won’t run out tomorrow.

If you’re carrying things today that feel heavy…

Remember this:

✝️The job may change you, God’s faithfulness doesn’t change.

‼️Sometimes hope isn’t loud.
‼️Sometimes hope is just waking up, taking one more step forward, and trusting that God is still walking with you through it.

“I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!””
