Our VSU students finished out their assignment with charades & snocones for our residents AND got an opportunity to shadow Logan, our own in-house speech language pathologist from Select Rehabilitation to gain insight for their future profession.SLP’s play a crucial role in diagnosing & treating patients with communication & swallowing issues. One of the most rewarding things to witness is watching the progress patients make during the process! It makes our heart happy when someone goes from struggling with a single word to speaking full sentences! ❤️

What sets The Canopy apart from other communities? Our incredible in-house therapy and rehab team with Select Rehab! 💙

Our dedicated therapy team provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy right here in our community, helping our residents maintain independence, build strength, and continue living life to the fullest. Having therapy services available in-house allows our residents to receive the support they need in the comfort of the place they call home.

We are so thankful for the amazing partnership we have with Select Rehab and the compassionate professionals who care for our residents each day! 👏
