Happy Monday! Let’s talk filler and dysport βœ¨πŸ’‰

What is filler? Filler is Hyalironic Acid which is found in some fluids and tissues in the body that add plumpness to the skin.

How long does filler last? Filler can last from 6-12-18 months and will differ for each individual depending on how fast your body metabolizes the filler and breaks it down.
β€’
When should I start getting dysport and filler? Many people often have the misconception of being young and not needing either of these. The truth is as you age you begin to lose volume and collagen in your face as well as other areas. Stating maintenance injections at a younger age will require less product and help to actually prevent aging vs beginning in your 40s or 50s.

What is dysport? Dysport is used to rest and prevent wrinkles by relaxing the muscles beneath the skin. This in turn helps the skin to be smoother.

How long does dysport last? Dysport can begin taking effect in just a few days and can last between 4 & 5 months when dosed correctly.

The patient shown in this post started her filler and dysport treatment in 2018. The photo on the left the patient is 23 and the photo on the right she is now 34. As you can see, with proper maintenance the aging process can be delayed and still look subtle and natural.
