Hello, sweet friends.

Over the past 5 years my client base has grown in ways I could have never predicted.
I’m currently operating on a beyond full schedule;
lucky enough to be booked a few months out.

Grateful simply doesn’t begin to cover it.

In order to keep showing up and serving you lovely folks and loyal clients who have supported me, I’ve decided to close my massage book to accepting new clients for the time being in order to balance family/work life.

Maybe one day I’ll have some wiggle room for new clients, but for now I’m making a necessary decision.

Ahh November.. the month of
gentle reminders to be grateful. 🍂

Did you know that practicing gratitude has health benefits?

According to science, it can calm the mind, reduce stress, improve sleep, boost the mood, and even support heart & immune health.

Simple ways to practice:
•Offer a prayer of thanks
•Speak or write kind words
•Acts of service
•Be fully present with someone. (Put those phones down ☺️)

For me, prayer has been the simplest way to start.
God has a pretty profound way of inspiring ways to help others and notice how blessed we truly are.

Reason #1,782 I love my job.

The cookies.

A client friend brought me these fresh baked pumpkin cookies today and it made my whole day.

Some days, it’s fresh eggs.
Some days, it’s flowers.
Candy.
Art.
Potted plants.
Books.
Electrolytes.

My favorite days though, are the days of heart-felt conversations, life stories, the cuddling of clients pets,
and warm hugs.
The days of random texts with clients, with an inside joke, or a “thinking of you!”

The reason I really love my job (and why I left Massage Envy 5 summers ago) was so I could forge deeper connections with clients.

So thank you, friends, for helping my dreams come to life and allowing me to exist in this safe space I love.
Yes, I consider most of you dear friends at this point.

So.. reason #1,782. It’s more than cookies.

That’s 1,782 days in business.

4 years.
10 months.

…And 17 days.

Get ready for something extra special happening
this December @ Salt & Sound Wellness, folks.

After all.. it’s not every year a triple milestone
happens all in one month. 😉 🎉

You know that feeling you get?

When you’re taking a stroll among the trees..
nowhere to be by a certain time, really.

Nothing rushed.

Appreciating your surroundings; and a break from noise of the world.
.That feeling that everything
around you has slowed way down?

Yea.. we need that. ❤️‍🩹

This week I felt drawn to slowing things down and creating more stillness at the studio.

Not too different from any other week, but, this aromatherapy trio hits differently.

Lavender - calm & soothing
Fir Needle - refreshing, encourages deep breathing, mood lifting
Cedarwood - grounding, emotionally stabilizing, eases anxiety

Slow on down and press forward, friends. 🌲

When emotions feel heavy, I reach for two oils:
Frankincense & Orange.

🌿 Frankincense helps ground & calm the nervous system.
🍊 Orange lifts the spirit & softens anxiety.

Together, they feel like a deep breath;
steadying, bright, & hopeful.

Comforting our senses can help us pause and breathe again.

…but, they don’t replace the deeper healing found in therapy, community, prayer, and faith in God. 🕊️

After almost two wonderful years, the retail store at the studio will be closing its chapter. 💛 This means it’s officially a while supplies last kind of situation — so if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, now’s the time to grab it! This does not mean Nella is closing! She will continue to be in this space as always, using her God given talents! You can book with Nella as per usual @ www.saltandsoundwellness.com

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for the love, support, and encouragement you’ve given me and this space. Truly, the best part of this journey has been the relationships formed, the conversations shared, and the peace and fellowship this little store has brought. You've all taught me so much and I still think we need a crumchy mom/grandma club where we do meetups!

The decision to close comes from my heart — it’s time to refocus on my family and faith ✨

This isn’t goodbye — just a new chapter. Thank you for walking alongside me in this one. I'll still be posting my weekly hours on Sunday evenings until further notice 🫶

A Heartfelt Update

Five years.
Five incredible years of connection, trust, and care with all of you who have walked through my doors. I am so grateful for your loyalty and for letting me be part of your wellness journey.

I’ve always tried to show up fully; even on the hard days- but right now, I need to step back from the ultra full-time studio schedule and a few other things for a bit, so I can be fully present for my family while navigating a challenge .

Being a fierce advocate for their health is just as important to me as caring for each of you.

Sometimes, taking a step forward looks like taking a few steps back; and that’s okay.

What this means for now:
•Shorter days
•Fewer appointments available
•A bit more rescheduling than usual (sorry in advance, everyone!)

I’m still here for you; my care and intention haven’t changed, …it just looks a little different for a while.

Thank you for understanding and being part of this journey with me.

✨ Gift Card Update ✨

Effective immediately, I’m no longer offering gift cards for massage services.

As a solo therapist, full-time business owner, and mom, I’m currently working 6 to 7 days a week just trying to keep up; with both my business and my family.

As much as I wish I could be in two places at once, I simply can’t.

I’m so thankful to be this busy, but I often struggle to even fit in the loyal clients who have supported me for years.

On top of that, unused gift cards continue to stack up, and I’m receiving more and more last-minute requests to redeem them; which just isn’t sustainable.

*If you already have a gift card, (either e-gift or hard copy),
it will still absolutely be honored.

But moving forward, no new gift cards will be sold.

Massage is a beautiful gift—but from now on, please schedule the session in advance if you’d like to gift one.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as I continue doing my best to show up fully for this work, my clients, and my family.
