Dr. Carol Hanna Mikhail completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. She received her Doctorate of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Mikhail also completed a residency program at the Southern California College of Optometry specializing in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy. Before transitioning to full time private practice, Dr. Mikhail was a Clinical Instructor at the Southern California College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, as well as the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
She enjoys the challenges of all areas of vision care including adult vision care, pediatric vision care, and contact lenses. She does have a particular passion for working with children and educating parents and teachers about the importance of early comprehensive vision care. She is enthusiastic and truly cares about her patients’ well-being. Her goal is to consistently provide the highest level of care for all patients.
