A huge thank you to Jersey Mike’s Subs of SCV and Foundation Board member Kyanna Isaacson for donating a delicious Christmas Eve lunch to our incredible teams in Housekeeping, Facilities, Nursing Administration, Admitting, Security, and the Emergency Department.
As our hospital navigates heavy rains and flooding, this act of kindness meant so much to the staff working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our patients, staff, visitors and campus safe. All of us at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital are truly grateful for the continued support of our community.

On December 8, the College of the Canyons hosted its Nurse Pinning Ceremony at the Performing Arts Center in Santa Clarita, honoring the perseverance, passion, and dedication of its graduating nursing students.
This meaningful tradition marked the completion of the Associate Degree in Nursing program, as graduates received their nursing pins and recited the nursing pledge, committing to ethical practice, compassionate care, and professional integrity as future registered nurses.
The ceremony featured an inspiring keynote address by Stacie Miller, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, who congratulated the graduates and shared why nursing continues to be one of the most trusted professions, because of its powerful impact on patients and communities.
It was a heartfelt celebration of resilience, teamwork, and the bright future ahead for these new nurses.
Congratulations, Class of 2025!
