Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Trauma Program Manager Gilda Cruz-Manglapus, RN, received a Community Service Award from Santa Clarita Elks Lodge 2379 on Monday, March 9 in recognition of her leadership of Henry Mayo’s Level II Trauma Program and her commitment to improving trauma care and surgical quality. In addition to her work at Henry Mayo, Gilda actively supports regional, statewide and national trauma organizations and provides community education by teaching Stop the Bleed courses throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Our community benefits from Gilda’s tireless dedication to clinical excellence. We thank the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge for recognizing her body of work.
