🌟💜 Employee Spotlight: Anna Foust 💜🌟

Meet Anna Foust, our dedicated Memory Care Specialist at St. Barnabas- Arbors of Valencia.

Anna began her journey at St. Barnabas in 2013 as a Personal Care Aid (PCA). In 2015, she transitioned to the Memory Care team, where she now provides cognitive stimulation and promotes purposeful engagement through specially tailored activities for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A graduate of Gannon University, Anna earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Science with a background in Occupational Therapy. Her education, combined with her compassion and dedication, allows her to create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents each day.

Building close, lasting relationships with residents and their families has truly changed Anna’s life. She finds caring for those living with dementia to be incredibly rewarding and is proud to be part of St. Barnabas, where she can pursue her passion every day.

We are so grateful for the heart, knowledge, and commitment Anna brings to our community! 💜

Caring for a loved one with dementia can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to walk the journey alone. Our Dementia Support Group offers a welcoming and safe space to share experiences, gain helpful resources, and connect with others who understand. Thank you to our February attendees for the encouragement and strength you bring to the group!

Our Memory Care residents recently painted beautiful puzzle pieces and brought them together to create a heart-shaped masterpiece! ❤️ In the center, a special banner reads, “Love you to pieces!”

This meaningful activity was a wonderful way to celebrate creativity, connection, and the unique role each person plays in our community. Just like puzzle pieces, every resident is an important part of the whole — and together, they create something truly special.

We are so proud of their hard work and the love that shines through this project! 💕

Join us as we recognize Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Education Week from February 14–21. This week is dedicated to raising awareness, sharing resources, and supporting individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

📚 We will have a display table in the front lobby featuring educational materials, resources, and information about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care. We encourage everyone to stop by, learn more, and help us spread awareness in our community.

Together, we can promote understanding, compassion, and support for those living with memory loss.
