Change disrupts dynamics and can have those in your life reflect on their own life, many times not liking what they notice.

It can be easier for a person to challenge changes you’ve made than to reflect on their own life.

Your healing journey is about Y O U and your H E A L I N G. Those that truly care and support your healing will know that and have your back.

True self-care is making daily choices that build a life of long term wellness.

It isn’t something you only when you need to relieve exhaustion or stress.

Self-care is the choices you make along your life journey to create as stable of a life for yourself as you can.

It is knowing when to let go of relationships and goals holding you back so you can create new healthy relationships and goals.

Self-care isn’t sexy, pretty, easy or spontaneous.

So much of grind culture emphasizes “never quitting”, “keep going” “you got this” mentality but AT. WHAT. COST??

Therapist Tip:
Never, ever, should people be encouraged to endure staying in an unhealthy environment for the sake of not quitting. NEVER.

Quitting doesn’t signify failure. It can signify self respect, healthy boundaries and taking care of your mental and emotional well-being.

Our Story

Life is a work in progress. A journey. I, like you, am walking a path on a life journey too. I am imperfect, an empath, weak, anxious, strong, a mom, happy, human-lover, wife, life-lover and a survivor. A work in progress. I take my own personal growth seriously and practice what I preach. Along with my education, my life experiences also mold me as a psychotherapist.

“YOU are the boss” is among one of the many phrases you will hear me say in our work together. I see you as the expert in your life and my role as a supportive one accompanying you through your life journey. We work together to figure things out and to make you feel empowered. We explore and process, problem solve and identify tools to facilitate the change that you are hoping to achieve. I recognize that change is hard and does not always come easy. You are always in the drivers seat in my office and I work with you at your pace.
