Anyone ready for spring yet? What can we do to fight the winter blues? A massage, accupunture, a new hairdo. Hit the gym. Get those endorphins flowing with 30minutes of exercise most days of the week. When all else fails, pray for warmer weather.

I'd like to believe that most physicians act in the best interest of their patients and don't intend to cause harm and unfortunately we are only human and we do make mistakes. I'd like health care to focus on wellness and prevention of disease and patients taking responsibility for their health, working with their health care providers to minimize preventable illnesses.

One of my friends commented on the fact that there are fewer gynecologists delivering babies because of the cost of malpractice insurance and where does that leave us? It leaves us praying for good Tort reform and continuting to talk to our goverment officials to limit the cost of malpractice insurance.
