What is innovation?
1. The act of innovating, to begin something new: introduce.
2. Something that is new or unusual. For more than 78 years, Fujfilm has had a rich history of innovation and leadership in the photographic industry, and during that time we have raised the bar in research and development. The outside world expects more from Fujifilm. They expect advancement...ingenuity…and INNOVA

TION. To achieve this goal, Fujifilm is employing its highly versatile fundamental core technologies that are grounded in the development of fine, high quality photographic products, and are now using them to create the products and services for new businesses that will shape the future for Fujifilm. So we invite you to see all of our amazing innovations – some expected and some not so expected – and let us know what you think! Please share your thoughts, photos, videos on Fujifilm’s innovations that help you in your daily lives.

"Giving our world more smiles" starts with how we care for it. 🌎

This , we are celebrating the people behind the progress. Across the country, Fujifilm employees rolled up their sleeves and came together for everything from beach and park cleanups to planting flower gardens. Each action, large or small, reflects a collective commitment to protecting and preserving our environment.

The journey of our QuickSnap™ cameras doesn't stop when you drop off your camera at your local lab. ♻️

Empty cameras are sent to the Fujifilm Recycling Collection Center in Greenwood, South Carolina where our team then takes each unit apart, separates key elements, and gives them new life. So which part of the camera do we recycle?

🔋Battery: Our disassembly machine automatically removes the battery from each QuickSnap™ one-time use camera and places it in a bulk container. Full containers of batteries are then sent to steel reclamation for recycling

🔍 Lens: Any lens that is not reused in a mechanical unit is sent out so the material can be recycled for other purposes

♻️ Front Body, Main Body & Rear Body: The front body, main body and rear body are automatically removed from the camera and placed on a conveyor going to the crusher. The crushed plastic material is heated and extruded to make new plastic pellets for crafting new parts for future QuickSnap™

That's just one way, Fujifilm is ensuring that everything comes back around! 🌎

This , we asked our teams one question: What does happiness look like to you?

From successful sourdough starters🍞 to lounging with your fur babies to visiting a new city✈️, we saw happiness in so many forms.

At Fujifilm, we believe that these joyful moments, big and small, are what truly brightens our world. It's one reason our Group Purpose is all about "Giving our world more smiles." Today, we’re grateful to celebrate the people and moments that bring our Purpose to life.

Want to know what happens at our reuse and recycle hub?

Once your QuickSnap or QuickSnap Waterproof cameras are dropped off to be developed, photoprocessors send the empty cameras to the Fujifilm Recycling Collection Center in Greenwood, South Carolina. We take it from there — ensuring that everything comes back around. 💚♻️

The plastic housings from the cameras are re-pelletized and remolded into new housings, and other key components of the camera are reused as well. Like a circle, this cycle can continue indefinitely. Now that's something worth smiling about! 🙂

For Lee Murray, UK Country Manager at FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc., all animals bring him happiness, but his heart belongs to two very special companions, Jack and Luna. 🫏 🫏

After 12 years in South London, he moved to a rural home in Somerset and finally fulfilled a long-held dream of rescuing donkeys. Each brings their own personality to the pasture. Jack is cheeky and always searching for treats, while Luna is the calm and sensible counterpart. Together they spend their days side by side.

Along the way, Lee has discovered just how perceptive and loyal donkeys can be. They often pause to observe before reacting, a thoughtful nature that is sometimes mistaken for stubbornness.

And when the sun comes out, Jack and Luna are more than happy to announce it to the world.

It is moments like these that remind us how everyday joys bring our Group Purpose of "Giving our world more smiles" to life. 💚

As we count down to International Day of Happiness, we asked employees across Fujifilm a simple question: What does happiness look like to you?

For Sandra Teng of FUJIFILM Biosciences, happiness means continuing to explore the world with the people you love — even when life throws unexpected challenges your way.

After her partner recovered from a major health incident, the pair honored their travel plans and headed to Anchorage, Alaska to see the Northern Lights.

Stories like these help bring our Group Purpose of "Giving our world more smiles" to life. Follow along this week as we share more employee stories of happiness. ✨

Fujifilm teams showed up all month long for Heart Health Month. From group walks and wellness sessions to healthy snacks, learning moments, and plenty of red, employees found simple ways to support heart health and each other. ❤️

A big shoutout to our colleagues at FUJIFILM Sonosite, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc., FUJIFILM Dimatix Inc. and FUJIFILM Biosciences for bringing energy and heart to their local celebrations.

These moments are a great reminder that small actions, shared experiences, and a little fun can spark meaningful awareness and strengthen our wellbeing.

On , we are celebrating the storytellers pushing digital filmmaking forward. 🎬

“OKAY,” written and directed by Andrew Kightlinger and lensed by Oren Soffer, was made on the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55, using both spherical and anamorphic lenses to move fluidly between intimacy and heightened cinematic scale.

The film will make its world premiere at Slamdance Film Festival 2026. We wish them continued success and are proud to see how filmmakers are using Fujifilm tools to bring bold creative visions to life.
