When mother’s own milk is not available, pasteurized donor milk is the next best choice. We are committed to reducing health disparities in the use of human milk and in seeking insurance reimbursement when possible.

A special delivery! 💙 Donor Gabrielle and baby girl Roma stopped by Dr. Lorelei’s Healthy Beginnings and Breastfeeding Medicine, an official NYMB milk depot, to donate milk in person and help support babies in need.

A milk depot is a convenient collection site where our approved donors drop off their milk by appointment. The depot safely stores and ships the milk to us for processing, and The New York Milk Bank covers all shipping fees.
