Happy Saturday!!!
For those who don’t know me, in addition to being a mental health professional, I am also an artist. I am a published author, poet, spoken word artist, dancer, and engage in many forms of arts & crafts. 😊 Today, I leave you with this poem, and please feel free to check out my website for more:

Blooming
Despite the treacherous rains of defeat and pain, you stood strong
the back bones of experience kicked through…
pushed through brick walls of barriers and past traumas
tore down excessive lies and gossip
you blossomed despite the unsuitable environment…
suited up with pride every time you felt like you were falling
you bloomed despite it all
and continue to shine
I see you, in all your glory
shining now, like the sun
