🌟 I Am NCPA: Arthur Metu, RPh, Capital City Pharmacy (Vallejo, Calif.)

Arthur’s pharmacy journey began in Nigeria, where he spent seven years completing training, teaching, and service work before practicing. After moving to the U.S. and passing the California Board of Pharmacy exam, he worked in several pharmacies before opening Capital City Pharmacy, now nearing its 10th year.

During COVID-19, he transformed an art gallery into a vaccination clinic, administering 4,000 shots in just three months.

“Of all the jobs I’ve done, for all the positions that I’ve occupied in pharmacy, there has been none that has given me the professional satisfaction that being a community pharmacist in Vallejo has given me.”
