Love the services the CAC providers for our state
Since 1997, the Dakota Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) has been a critical resource for children and families impacted by abuse and trauma.
With a mission rooted in healing, safety, and justice, DCAC offers trauma-informed services including forensic interviews, medical evaluations, therapeutic support, and advocacy—all completely free of charge. Their multidisciplinary team model ensures that children only need to tell their story once, reducing additional trauma and creating a coordinated path to recovery.
As the need for services continues to rise, DCAC is actively expanding its Jamestown office to provide the same level of care available at its Bismarck headquarters. This includes adding full-time staff and programming to make critical support more immediate and accessible for families across the region. The organization serves every county in North Dakota, including tribal nations, and also supports parts of South Dakota and Montana. With cases of abuse steadily increasing, DCAC remains committed to removing barriers and building a safe space for every child who walks through their doors.
As a member of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce, DCAC values the opportunity to connect with others who care deeply about building a strong, supportive community.
