If you couldn’t speak for yourself… who do you want to? And do they know your wishes?

In the work I do, I’ve had the honor of sitting with people and families during some of life’s most tender moments. What I’ve seen is this—when wishes are unspoken, it can feel heavy and uncertain for those left to decide.

But when those conversations have been had… when your voice has already been shared… there is a sense of peace that settles in the room.

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about honoring your life, your values, and the way you want to be cared for.

✨ A Moment Worth Remembering ✨

As we think about the week ahead, we can’t help but smile remembering the special 95th birthday celebration held for Gordon last week. 🥳

At The Legacy Place, we love celebrating our residents in meaningful and joyful ways. Our amazing Activities Coordinator, Randi, brought her signature birthday tradition—wearing her rainbow tutu and crowning the birthday king for the day. 👑

Watching her place that crown on Gordon’s head was such a sweet and memorable moment. Surrounded by friends, staff who care deeply, and two of his children by his side, it was more than just a birthday—it was a celebration of a life well-lived and the love that surrounds him.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. 💚

Happy 95th birthday, Gordon—we are so honored to celebrate you! 🥳
