Your purpose is more than the work God has called you to.

✝️You were made to be like Him(Genesis 1:26)
💗You were chosen as THE object of His affection(Deuteronomy 10:15)
✨God chose to sacrifice Jesus so you could have LIFE in Him(John 3:16)

Stop using the work you do to try and earn God’s favor and love.

🌳Instead, abide in the truth of His love for you and watch as He sets you on fire to accomplish the mission He has called you to.

✝️ What a GIFT it is to have Jesus!

As we prayed to close Movement Class last week, the Lord allowed us to linger on the truth that Christ is a Gift.

“… a son is given to us.”

There was also an intense reminder to stay in the peace of His presence and not get swept in the sea of busy this season can often bring.

Can I encourage you to pause and meditate on the multifaceted gift that Jesus is?

✨“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.” -Matthew 5:3 MSG

As the Lord nudged me back to this verse again and again this morning, I was pretty annoyed. I was bored of reading the same two sentences.

🙄And most of all I’m sick of being at the end of my rope.

In that irritation, the sweet voice of my Savior shaped me up real quick with these words,

“Is your comfort more important to you than your King?”

So I ask you the same question today…

🔄Have you been saying yes when He would have you say no?
🐹Have you been on a hamster wheel when He’s called you to rest?
🧼Have you been putting off the mundane He’s asked you to handle for something more bright and shiny?
👑Have you made comfort more important than your King?

😍🫶There’s a really special thing that happens when we, as daughters of God, enter into what He’s doing.

I’m privileged to gather with a wonderful group of women weekly to do just that, and YOU’RE WELCOME to join us!

✝Something profound just hit me…

I’ve been having a tough time figuring out what it practically looks like to “fix my eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2). I’m sure there are many ways–if you have some, please write them in the comments. But what just hit me is that focusing on our breath is one way to focus on Jesus.

He is the Giver of our breath.
His name, YHWH, is imitated in the sound of our breath.

❌This is not a new age practice.
💗This is a way to honor the One who gives us our breath.
✨It’s an invitation into a holy, gratitude-filled moment to focus on this simple yet intricate gift from the Lord.
🕊It’s an opportunity to abide in Jesus and receive the peace He offers.

Will you accept the invitation?

🌸✨♀Daughter of God, do you know who you are? As followers of Christ it’s so important for us to know who we are.

Two out of the three temptations the devil presented to Jesus were in relationship to who He is.

God had JUST SAID, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy” (Luke 3:22, NLT). But the devil wasn't going to let Him believe that.

📝Take a second and think about who you believe you are. I dare you to grab a notebook and write them down.

⚖Now, and this is the important part, find what the scriptures say about you and do a little comparing and contrasting.

Have you fluffed your ego and worth with your exterior beauty and your ability to do good things when everyone is watching? Because God’s word says that “charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised” (Proverbs 31:30, NLT).

Do you think you’re a humble person because you believe you don’t matter? Because God’s word says his thoughts about you are precious and that they “outnumber the grains of sand” (Psalm 139:18, NLT).

Sister, fix your thoughts on the words of Life that Jesus is speaking over you through the truth of the Bible and believe them💗

🌬️Take a deep breath in
🧘🏼‍♀️And relax your shoulders as you exhale

God has you in the palm of His hand. You weren’t made to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders—Jesus already took care of that.

✨👼🏻Eight months had passed after an early pregnancy loss, and this client and her husband still hadn’t gotten pregnant again.

Through the encouragement of a friend, she contacted me about a Female Pelvic Massage.

We chatted on the phone for a bit to help me determine her needs, goals, and financial and scheduling boundaries. After a few days of prayer and seeking the Lord, He gave the green light to take her on as a client.

We had a total of 3 sessions!

📋Session 1: Her assessment session: This is where we talked long about all her body has been through–trauma, healing, injuries, loss–you know, all the fun stuff😉

👐🏻Session 2: In this session, we worked slowly and gently so her body could familiarize itself with my touch. This provides a great starting point for session three.

🤰🏼Session 3: Here, we addressed a few “side missions,” decreasing her pain and discomfort so her body could produce enough progesterone to create and maintain a healthy pregnancy.

🎉And two weeks later, I got this text!

I’m not delusional enough to take any of the credit for this. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

“Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things” (Ecclesiastes 11:5, NLT).

I’ve been called to Jesus, and in staying near to Him, I get the absolute privilege of helping Him create LIFE. It leaves me the beautiful kind of speechless…
