This week we welcomed Gail, a former nurse who once worked right here in our facility. Gail is still deeply active in the community, she shared a fascinating presentation on the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps, the young women recruited during WWII to support the war effort as stateside nurses.

Our residents loved learning about this important piece of history—One of our residents even remembered several Valley City women who served, including those who went on to work at Mercy Hospital. 💙🩺
