🌿 Spring Grounds Update & Important Reminders 🌿
As we prepare for the Spring and Summer at Pineview Memory Gardens, grass cutting will begin soon. To ensure we can properly maintain the beauty, safety, and dignity of the cemetery, we respectfully ask all families to remove any personal items, trinkets, or seasonal decorations that are not placed on top of the granite monument.
To avoid damage and unnecessary removal, please remember:
• No flowers, decorations, or personal items are permitted off the top of the granite monument.
• Glass items are not allowed.
• Shepherd hooks are not permitted.
• Only one solar light per grave space is allowed.
• Solar lights should be placed within the floral arrangement.
***Items placed off the granite prevent us from properly w**d eating and maintaining around monuments.***
For families awaiting monument installation, please limit items to one flower arrangement in a temporary vase. Once a permanent monument is installed, a flower vase must be permanently attached if flowers will be left at the gravesite.
During the first week of March, our grounds crew and management team will inspect all cemetery sections prior to mowing. Any items not in compliance will be removed. Removed items will be placed in a designated area at the cemetery for 30 days, allowing families time to retrieve them.
Upcoming Improvements
We are also continuing efforts to enhance the beauty of Pineview:
• New shrubs and trees will be planted throughout the cemetery. The invasive Bradford pear trees were removed due to splitting and storm damage that was affecting gravesites. We are committed to restoring and improving those areas — and the entire grounds.
• Visually appropriate trash receptacles will be installed soon. Until then, we kindly ask visitors to remove old flowers and debris from family plots during visits and take them with you, or place them on the corner of the gardens for our groundskeepers to collect.
We appreciate your cooperation as we enter the spring and summer seasons. Your partnership helps us maintain the peaceful, well-kept environment families expect and deserve.
Cemetery Rules & Regulations are always available at pineviewmemorygardens.com, where maintenance requests may also be submitted online.
Thank you for trusting Pineview and for helping us preserve Dallas County’s Best Kept Sanctuary of Peace & Remembrance.
