Just a gentle reminder from your favorite therapist: it's okay to take a deep breath and restart. Life gets overwhelming, and sometimes we need to pause, reset, and begin again with a fresh perspective.
💛 Remember, it's not about how fast you go or how perfect you look. It's about progress, healing, and being kind to yourself.

🌿 Inhale peace, exhale stress. Let’s embrace the power of a deep breath and the beauty of new beginnings.

Your journey is unique and powerful, and every step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. Keep shining, keep breathing, and most importantly, keep being you.

✨ Life can get hectic, and managing your workload can sometimes feel overwhelming. Here are my top tips to help you stay on top of things and reduce that stress:
Prioritize Your Tasks 📋 Break your tasks into smaller, manageable pieces. Focus on what's important and tackle them one at a time.

Take Breaks and Breathe 🧘🏾‍♀️ Schedule regular breaks to recharge. Step outside, stretch, or practice deep breathing exercises. A moment of calm can work wonders.

Delegate Tasks 🤝🏾 Don’t hesitate to ask for help. Share responsibilities with colleagues, friends, or family to lighten your load.

Set Boundaries 🚧 It’s okay to say no and set limits. Protect your time and energy by establishing clear boundaries.

Celebrate Your Accomplishments 🎉 Take time to recognize and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. You deserve to acknowledge your hard work and progress.

Remember, you are powerful, resilient, and deserving of peace. Let's tackle this together, one step at a time.

MIND MEETS MOVEMENT COUNSELING SERVICE

My name is Katiuscia Gray and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified yoga teacher (200hr) and psychotherapist. I graduated from Adelphi University in 2006 with an M.S.W. in Social Work and received my yoga certification in 2018. In 2019, I became a certified clinical child and adolescent anxiety treatment professional (CCATP-CA).

I am the owner of Mind Meets Movement Counseling Services, an integrative health practice in Valley Stream that focuses on individual, group, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. I utilize unique and creative methods to help my clients get the most out of their sessions, linking mind and body in the process.

I fell in love with yoga in 2010, when I attended a class at the recommendation of my doctor to treat my migraines. It was a restorative class, one that focuses strictly on relaxation with very minimal poses. At the end of the class, my mind and body were so relaxed! I never felt that type of relaxation in my whole life. I was instantly hooked. I deepened my understanding of the connection between mind and body, and began integrating it into my psychotherapy treatments.
