About Me

Wendy Longo is a board certified pediatrician and is multilingual in Italian and Spanish. Dr. Longo enjoys caring for all children infancy to young adulthood, and has special interests in obesity and nutrition. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. She then completed residency training at NYU – Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY. She was born and raised on Long Island, lived in Italy for 3 years were she started her University studies in Biology and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at SUNY Stony Brook , NY.

She has been working with Prohealth since 2014 initially in Bellmore, NY and in 2019 she was delighted with the opportunity to relocate to her new office in Valley Stream, NY. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and photography. She lives on Long Island with her husband and young daughter.
