Deductibles reset!
Typically in January, as in right now.
Plans change.
Coverage varies more than most people expect.
We encourage clients to stay informed so there are no surprises and so therapy can feel supportive, not stressful.
If you’re unsure what your plan covers, calling your insurance directly can make a big difference. And if you have questions, our team is always happy to walk through options with you.
If you’re considering starting therapy or returning after a break, visit the link in our bio to learn more about working with our practice — we offer both virtual and in-person appointments in New York.
We typically work with: Aetna, 1199, Cigna, Optum, UBH, Lyra, Oxford
Other resources to find a therapist by your insurane provider: psychologytoday (dot) com, (dot) com or ask customer service on your card for a list of providers in your area, especially or a or whatever you need! Insurance isn't always the best resource if you don't understand how it works, but if you have it, work it!
See you on the couch!
