In the past week, BFD C-Shift has responded to numerous critical calls for service, including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents with extrication, and high-priority EMS responses. Highlighted below includes a reported uncontrolled grass fire response. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a controlled burn that had spread to a nearby single-story wood-frame structure. Smoke and flames were visible from the eaves and roof of the building, prompting an upgrade of the incident to a working structure fire.

Fire crews quickly deployed a 1 3/4" hose to initiate fire suppression and forced entry into the building. The fire was quickly brought under control, and fortunately, there were no injuries reported at the scene. Throughout this period, BFD had the privilege of collaborating with several partner agencies to deliver optimal services to the Beulah and surrounding communities. We appreciate these partnerships and the strong working relationships we have established with these organizations.
