We paid tribute to our Veterans 🇺🇸 today, aided by Heart to Heart Hospice and String-A-Long Quilt Guild. The Veterans received certificates, pins, and a Quilt of Valor. Our beauty shop is a beloved amenity, and our residents adore it! From manicures to our massage chair, our residents are pampered 💅🎀💇‍♀️. Following their visit to the beauty shop, they participated in a thrilling game of Plinko and won wonderful prizes!

We ended October on a busy note with candy twister toss and some really cool Halloween crafts, ghost towers and Frankenstein faces! Working up an appetite lead to ice cream yum! We’re super excited for the approaching holidays.

Happy Halloween 🎃 from Valparaiso Senior Village! We want to congratulate Victor on being the closest answer to our Guess the Weight of our Pumpkin contest! It weighs 61lbs and he guessed 60. We would also like to congratulate Linda in being our Employee of the Month! Linda is one of our outstanding nurses and has been with us for 3 years!

Every month we set aside a day for our Vetetans and we had donuts and coffee which they really enjoyed! Also Robert from our in-house therapy team Vertis Therapy held Living Lively with our residents with balloon tennis.

And the winners of our pumpkin decorating contest are Summer and Bri, two of our CNA’s!! They did a great job and the residents really enjoyed placing their votes!
