If you have a child and you’re tired of giving them crappy snacks but don’t know what else to give them, THIS is for YOU 🫵

Every child is different (even triplets, I speak from experience) and they typically enjoy variety.

Some “quick” brain healthy snacking tips:
🥕🥦 A variety of veggies are great (see if you can sneak them into smoothies or add a dipping sauce like ranch or hummus). Leave it out as a pre-dinner snack as the only choice and I’m sure they’ll eat it up!
🥜 Nuts and nut butters are SO good for the brain. has some yummy protein bars with almond or peanut butter
⬇️ Limit the amount of sugar consumed. This goes for all snacks :)

I don’t always feed my kids perfect snacks, but the snacks I feed them today are much better and different than a few years ago.

There’s no need to completely overhaul your snack sich. Start with one snack on one day and go from there 💜🧠

What you really needed was a “Oh, I’m sorry your sleep is bad right now” instead of trying to fix it 😜

🧹 YOUR BRAIN HAS A CLEAN UP CREW 🧹

🛌 When you sleep, your brains “glymphatic system” is activated.

It cleans up harmful toxins that build up during the stressful waking hours & they get washed out with cerebrospinal fluid.

So when you sleep, you are allowing your brain to “clean itself out.”

How can you help your brains glymphatic crew be activated?
💤 Avoid eating/drinking (especially alcohol and sugar) at least 1 hour before bed
💤 Get a full 7-9 hours of sleep
