Unlike the ridiculous legal fight of a Florida woman, most facilities will accept your autonomy - even if there's some pushback.

Discussion and respect is how we have safe birth without unnecessary trauma. Doctors, midwives, nurses who practice with respect will have these conversations with you to help you make informed decisions and understand if there's a true medical concern.

Kaia and I stopped in to support Farmhouse Coffee Co. today. Not only do they have amazing lattes, but apparently but Kaia says their boba is the best around - and she’s tried it all! Even though they were super busy, they still served every customer with a smile. ❤️

I’m sharing with the permission of one of my recent clients.

I was so blessed to work with Chelsea and her beautiful family. When I think about instinct and the body doing what it’s meant to do, I think about this day. When I talk to others about advocating for their choices, I remember how she made the best choices for herself.

I’m so thankful that she chose me as her doula and that I was able to help her have the birth she wanted.

When I’m not in doula mode, I’m usually hanging out with my kids. Sometimes I’m planning class parties, other times I’m cheering for my kiddos during sports. Tonight it’s a family movie night. 🥰🥰
