Join us this afternoon at 2 pm for the opening reception of our newest exhibit at The Village Gallery, featuring the work of Norma Armstrong.

Norma’s journey into art began after a long career in education, and over the past 30+ years, she has developed a beautiful body of work inspired by nature, rural landscapes, and travel. Her paintings reflect a deep appreciation for lifelong learning and creativity.

Now in her 90s, Norma continues to create and take art classes right here at Pines Village, which makes this exhibit even more special to our community.

We hope you’ll stop by the Celebration Center and The Village Gallery today to meet Norma, enjoy her work, and celebrate this meaningful collection with us.

The Bailly family is central to the history of Porter County, but the women of the family helped shape that legacy in ways that are often overlooked.

Join us this Thursday, March 26, 1 pm at Pines Village for a presentation by County Historian Serena Ard, who will share her research on Marie Bailly and the generations of women whose lives blended Indigenous and European heritage and influenced the region’s early development.

This special event is presented in partnership with Porter County Museum (PoCo Muse) as part of their current exhibit, From a Bailly Point of View.

Free and open to the public.
