Pooja, our Legacy LEA, taught residents about Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, which is celebrated over five days. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The fourth day often marks the start of the New Year according to the Hindu calendar. At this time of celebration, people eat a variety of sweet and savory snacks. Tomorrow, residents will make and try some of these wonderful treats.

We would like to give a huge shoutout to
🚒🔥 and especially to Joe, Mike, and Wayne, for making David’s Live a Dream become a reality! 💙 He got to spray water from their tank and watch the ladder rise 110 feet in the air! All of our residents had an amazing time cheering him on and enjoying the action, too! 👏❤️
