Introducing AASL’s Word of the Week!
This week our word is “open” and it pairs perfectly with Pirate Week! From opening treasure chests to opening doors, boxes, and containers, our therapists will be modeling this word all week. Watch closely during sessions and swipe to see a simple, fun way you can practice at home. You can also model open on your child’s AAC device during everyday routines!
As always, reach out to your child’s speech therapist if you have any questions. We hope you all stay “open” to a great week of learning and fun! 🏴☠️
