✨✨ Clinician Spotlight ✨✨
Kaylia says, "You don’t have to carry it alone."
Hello, I’m Kaylia Vandermillion, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Greenwood.
I’ve called the River Valley home for more than 20 years and feel honored to serve the community I love. I earned my Psychology degree from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University.
I work with children, teens, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply worn down by life. Whether it’s big emotions in little bodies, stress that won’t turn off, or seasons of transition that feel heavier than expected, I provide a safe, steady space to sort through it.
I have a special love for working with children through Child-Centered Play interventions. Children often communicate through play long before they can explain what they’re feeling, and it’s an honor to step into their world with patience and care. I am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential to further deepen that specialization.
I also enjoy walking alongside teens and adults as they build confidence, connection, and emotional insight in practical and empowering ways. I have experience working with individuals navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, OCD, caregiver fatigue, and church leadership dynamics.
My approach is calm, collaborative, and rooted in respect. Therapy should feel steady — not intimidating — and real growth happens when people feel both safe and empowered.
If you’re looking for a counselor who values authenticity, faith-informed care (when desired), and whole-person support, I would be honored to connect. Growth is possible!
