I'm excited to share that I’ve accepted a new opportunity in a field I’ve been passionate about for years—occupational medicine. I’ll be joining a clinic serving the West Des Moines and Ankeny areas, where I’ll support their mission to create a safer, healthier workforce. This role aligns closely with the focus of much of my postgraduate continuing education, and I’m eager to apply that knowledge in a meaningful way.

To the Van Meter community: it’s been an honor to serve you, and I’ve truly appreciated your support during my time in practice here. My last treatment day in the office will be July 24th.

I've adjusted in a lot of locations but never on a PGA teebox. Golf is a rotational sport and these athletes have so much power that the soft tissue takes a lot of stress. This ended up being 2 disc bulges.

Pain is a general term that describes uncomfortable sensations in the body. It stems from activation of the nervous system. Pain can range from annoying to debilitating. It may feel like a sharp stab or dull ache. It may also be described as throbbing, pinching, stinging, burning, or sore.

Ignoring pain or thinking it's just part of life can set your body up for long-term problems that are harder to fix.

Welcome to Align Chiropractic

My name is Dr. Shane Bradley, I’ve been in practice for 15 years and love what I do!

My wife, Jenae, and I are from Armstrong, a small town in Northern Iowa, and have lived in the Des Moines area for 10 years. We have 2 kids, Cecily and Kellen, and we are all looking forward to getting back to our small town roots as a part of the Van Meter community.

My passion for chiropractic began at a young age. When I was in 7th grade, regular chiropractic treatment healed my migraines. That experience inspired me to make a career out of healing and helping others on their own path to wellness.

I've been given the greatest gift; the chance to help others achieve better health. I've been blessed to work with all sorts of people throughout my career, from babies to 95 year olds, high school to professional athletes and everything in between. Each individual has different needs and different paths to achieving better health. All are welcome and I look forward to working with each of you to achieve your individual goals.
