As we head deeper into the holiday season, I wanted to share one of my favorite personal Christmas traditions that always brings a moment of peace and gratitude to our busy morning.

Every Christmas morning, before the hustle of opening gifts begins, our family gathers for a simple, quiet moment. We place a small candle in a warm, gooey cinnamon roll and sing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.

It's a beautiful, simple reminder of the reason for the season—and a wonderful way to ground ourselves in gratitude and joy before the day gets going. It helps us slow down, be present, and focus on what truly matters.

Just like taking a moment for that cinnamon roll tradition, remember to prioritize those small moments of stillness and self-care during the holiday rush. Whether it's five minutes of quiet, a gentle walk, or scheduling your next adjustment or acupuncture session—pausing for presence is key to a healthy mind and body.
