🌟 Therapy Thursday Spotlight 🌟

Joyce came to rehab following a total knee replacement and made excellent progress during her stay. She stayed motivated and focused on her goals throughout therapy, putting in the work each day to regain her strength and independence.

With her dedication and the support of our therapy team, Joyce was able to successfully return to her assisted living apartment and continues to do very well.

🌿 Preventing Falls 🌿

Falls are one of the most common causes of injury for older adults, but a few simple steps can help keep you safe and steady

Ways to Reduce Fall Risk:
1️⃣ Keep walkways clear – Remove clutter, loose rugs, and cords
2️⃣ Light the way – Make sure hallways, stairs, and entrances are well-lit
3️⃣ Supportive shoes – Wear shoes with good traction and proper support
4️⃣ Reach safely – Keep frequently used items within easy reach to avoid climbing or stretching
5️⃣ Stay active – Strength and balance exercises can improve stability and confidence
