Help Shape an Age- and Dementia-Friendly Washington – Take the Survey Today!
Body:
Dear [Recipient Name],
Washington State is taking important steps to become a more inclusive, supportive place for people of all ages and abilities—and your voice is essential in this effort.
The Washington State Department of Health is inviting residents to participate in the Age- and Dementia-Friendly Washington Survey, available throughout November. This survey is a key part of developing an Action Plan that will help communities across the state become safer, healthier, and more connected for older adults and those living with dementia.
By sharing your experiences and ideas, you’ll help shape policies and programs that promote dignity, independence, and well-being for everyone.
The survey is available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Somali, Russian, Korean, Ukrainian, and Cambodian.
Let’s build a future where every Washingtonian can thrive as they age.
Thank you for lending your voice to this important initiative!

💜 Why the CDM Respite Center Matters 💜

For care partners and PLWD, the CDM Respite Center is more than a place—it’s a lifeline. It offers compassionate, person-centered care in a safe, joyful environment where PLWD are honored, engaged, and supported. While loved ones participate in meaningful activities, care partners receive the precious gift of rest, knowing their person is in trusted hands.

This center embodies Dementia Friendly Clark County WA’s mission:

• 🕊️ Dignity for PLWD through tailored programs that celebrate identity, creativity, and connection
• 🤝 Relief for care partners who carry the weight of love and responsibility every day
• 🌱 Community healing where legacy, resilience, and joy are nurtured together

On September 25, Give More 24 offers a powerful opportunity to support this vital work—every donation will be matched up to $13,000, doubling your impact for families facing dementia.

Every hour of respite is a moment of renewal. Every gift helps sustain this sanctuary of care.
