Meet Me at the Museum Returns Quarterly Beginning February 18!
Our dementia‑friendly museum mornings are back. People living with dementia and their care partners are invited to join us for a welcoming, low‑stress visit that blends history, creativity, and connection.
February’s gathering will feature:
A first look at the museum’s new visitor center
A fun, interactive activity based on “Vancouver‑opoly,” celebrating local places and history
Gentle conversation, supportive staff, and time to explore the exhibits at your own pace
A comfortable environment designed specifically for PLWD and their care partners.

✨ Wampanoag Nation Traditions: Soaring Owl’s Personal Experiences 🎤 Presented by Lydia Fowler Newcomb

Lydia Fowler Newcomb (Soaring Owl) is an enrolled member of the Wampanoag Nation, Herring Pond Clan. She is a cultural educator and storyteller who shares both the ancient traditions of her people and her own lived experiences as a Native woman today. Lydia brings an authentic voice to preserving and sharing Wampanoag heritage, weaving together history, spirituality, and personal narrative to help audiences connect with Indigenous culture.

Come learn, reflect, and connect as Lydia shares powerful stories and cultural traditions from the Wampanoag Nation. A meaningful way to close out the year’s programming!

From November 17 through 21, HOPE Dementia Support and CDM Caregiving Services invite you to donate non‑perishable food items to benefit the Clark County Food Bank. Every can, box, and bag helps families right here in our community.
