As we continue finding inspiration in the new year, residents chose words that truly spoke to them and painted them into beautiful works of art to hang at home. A daily reminder of encouragement, positivity, and self-connection—made by their own hands and meant to inspire every day.

Extra happy and extra cozy moments thanks to Jayde, who whipped up a delicious batch of hot cocoa for everyone to enjoy! Complete with marshmallows, whipped cream, and caramel, this sweet treat warmed hands, hearts, and spirits all around. ☕🤎

We’re so thankful for team members like Jayde who know it’s the little touches that make a day feel special.

Our residents have been busy creating vision boards for 2026, and the room was filled with great conversation, laughter, and dreaming big. Staff and residents enjoyed chatting about hopes, goals, and wishes for the year ahead while putting together boards they’ll see each day.

These vision boards are more than collages — they’re gentle reminders to keep dreams in sight and put intentions into motion, one day at a time. ✨🖼️

Tammy, Bobbie, Terry, and Terry’s cousin Larry had a great time together during our DIY for Daily Living activity! Each week, this group gets together to create something that can be used in everyday life — practical, personal, and fun to make.

This week, we crafted microwavable heat packs using tall patterned socks, rice, essential oils, and a bit of twine. When heated, these packs gently form to the body and offer soothing warmth, paired with a calming scent chosen by the person who made it. A cozy project with comfort built right in! ♨️💛

Marilyn recently shared one of her drawings featuring her beloved “little houses.” She told us that little houses are her muse — a recurring theme in her artwork that holds deep meaning for her. Through these drawings, Marilyn imagines homes from her past and dreams up cozy houses for everyone, each one full of character, warmth, and care.

Her art is a beautiful reminder that creativity can be a way of remembering, imagining, and sharing love. 🏠✨

We’d like to gently remind our community about Dusty’s Memorial Service, happening Wednesday, January 21st from 2:00–4:30 PM.

This gathering will be a celebration of life, filled with shared stories, smiles, and the kind of lighthearted moments that felt most true to Dusty. We’ll be honoring him with some of his favorite things — Dr Pepper, candy, chocolate ice cream, and Lay’s potato chips — because remembering someone should feel personal, comforting, and full of love.
