Project Wellness has always been more than an event, a workshop, or a moment in the year.
It’s a community — a place where people come exactly as they are, with whatever they’re carrying, and find themselves held by something real.

As we step into this next chapter of PW, I knew we needed a grounding truth — a mantra that reflects who we are and how we grow. Not through perfection, not through pressure, but through honesty, courage, and the willingness to begin again.

This is the heartbeat of Project Wellness.
This is the foundation of everything we build together.

This is where we start.

There was a time in my life when the only thing I knew for sure…
was what I didn’t want.

I didn’t know self-love.
I didn’t know my own definition of wellness.
I didn’t know what alignment felt like in my body.
I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was living.

So I started removing everything that wasn’t for me.
Piece by piece.
Layer by layer.
Until my life finally got quiet enough for me to hear myself again.

And in that quiet… I rebuilt.
I learned how to listen.
I learned how to trust.
I learned how to return to myself.

This is where We Start Here was born.

Not from perfection.
Not from having the whole plan.
But from choosing the next honest step —
and letting that be enough.

Wherever you are in your journey…
whatever you’re unraveling, releasing, remembering, or becoming…

we start here.

What to Expect:

A candlelit evening of breath, movement, and deep connection at Lacamas Lodge. Guided by yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator Emily Olson, this 90-minute circle blends gentle yoga, breathwork, sound healing, chanting, and nervous system regulation techniques, all in rhythm with the season.

As we move into the darker months, we’ll stoke our inner light, the quiet spark that carries us through winter with warmth, laughter, and shared presence. Allow yourself to slow down, release what no longer serves you, and step gently into the calm and clarity of the season.

Together, we’ll move, breathe, laugh, and release. This space is for you - all levels welcome.
