What a wonderful day we had! ✨ The kids’ choir from the Seventh-day Adventist Church visited us and performed beautifully, showcasing their talents with singing, piano, violin, and more. With ages ranging from 4 to 17, these young musicians brought so much joy to our residents. 🎶

After their performance, they handed out handmade cards and took the time to socialize, asking each resident three thoughtful questions. It was an enriching experience that created lasting memories for both the children and our community. ❤️

💖 We are incredibly proud to share the success of our Holiday Card Drive! Our amazing residents came together to create heartfelt cards filled with love and added goodies like candy, hand warmers, candy canes, blankets, and electrolytes for the homeless community. These will be personally handed out to spread warmth and care this season.

✨ Residents also made extra cards just to let those in need know we’re thinking of them and wishing them safety during this festive time.

🇺🇸 In addition, they crafted beautiful cards for our brave soldiers, which will be sent to "Hugs for Soldiers" to express our gratitude and support.

Our residents had a blast creating their own adorable charcuterie boards with the talented woodmaker Abby, just in time for the holidays!

It was an easy and fun experience, and the best part? They can take their boards to Victory Bistro, where our chef will prepare a delicious spread just for them! 🧀🍇🥖 What a wonderful way to celebrate the season!

Thank you to everyone who joined our Sunday Brunch here at The Park at University Village. We loved celebrating the delicious magic of Chocolat with you, from cocoa-kissed pastries to savory dishes with a hint of chocolate in every bite. ☕️🍫

Literary Leftovers, our beloved used bookstore in Battle Ground, WA, is a vibrant cultural hub for the community! 📕 🎨 They host wonderful children's programs and recently showcased beautiful artwork from our talented local kids. ☺️

This past weekend, we had the privilege of displaying their amazing artwork in our library, helping to raise funds for the Children’s Program. Every year, Literary Leftovers selects art (and poetry!) to create a community calendar, with proceeds supporting these fantastic initiatives.

Let’s continue to support our young artists and the programs that benefit our community! ❤️💛

Yesterday, we proudly observed Veterans Day with our neighbors at The Inn at University Village, joined by the incredible volunteers from The Patriot Guard Riders. They represented each branch of the military with their flags and songs, generously sharing their time and efforts to honor our veterans. They also brought beautiful poppies and stars for our heroes.

We experienced several touching moments, particularly when our community came together for the presentation of the American flag, followed by a heartfelt recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. We wrapped up our visit with refreshments and the joy of making new friends.

A heartfelt thank-you to all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. ❤️
