Yesterday evening’s Atrium Christmas Dinner was a wonderful success, with many family members joining us to enjoy a delicious meal, festive drinks, live music, and the lighting of the courtyard tree.

A huge thank you to our Dietary Team, Life Enrichment Team, and our managers for their hard work and dedication in supporting our residents and guests throughout this special event.

Our annual Christmas Tree Lighting was a huge success—rain and all! Residents, family members, and guests enjoyed nine beautifully decorated trees, along with amazing snacks prepared by our Chef and his team, paired perfectly with wine or cider.

The evening concluded with the lighting of our 30-foot live Christmas tree in the courtyard, illuminated for the very first time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special!

Our annual Christmas train ride was particularly memorable, as residents had the opportunity to share their holiday wishes with Santa, savor a candy cane, and embark on a magical journey accompanied by Santa Claus and his elves aboard the historic 1912 Polson #2 steam locomotive. The festively decorated, heated vintage rail cars provided a cozy setting for a scenic ride along the Willamette River, situated in the heart of the city. We concluded the evening with dinner at Mama Mia’s, followed by a drive around the Pioneer courthouse Christmas tree.

We kicked off the holiday season with the Washougal Lighted Christmas Parade, a tradition for the community, where we decorate the bus, wear festive clothing, and wave at the crowd as we proceed through the parage route.
